BBS Small Business Women's Symposium identifies and addresses some of the challenges women face when conducting business.

Broaddus Business Solutions (BBS) will be hosting a virtual symposium for women small business owners on Business Women's Day . If you are a woman small business owner or a woman starting a business, this is the event for you. Come learn some of the common challenges that women small business owners face and how to overcome them.

The group of no more than five participants will meet weekly virtually using Zoom on Mondays from 7 to 9 p.m. EDT starting Monday, June 1.

The cost is $57 per month or you can purchase a year's subscription for $570.00, which gives you two months for free.

The COVID-19 outbreak has changed how consumers can interact with businesses. Some service industry businesses are trying to come up with a plan to continue serving their clients. Do to the spread of the Coronavirus, they had to close their doors.

Broaddus Business Solutions will be hosting a support group for business owners and entrepreneurs like yourself to come together to brainstorm solutions to issues you are facing in this trying time to maintain your business success after the Coronavirus.

Yolonda is a graduate from Garfield High School and she has a degree in Business Administration from Ohio Wesleyan University. She started Allegiance Insurance Group LLC in 2009. Yolonda holds a property casualty, life and health license. She enjoys helping people and business owners understand the importance of insurance.

Judy DeShon of the Better Business Bureau (BBB) of Akron will give a talk on the BBB's vision of an ethical marketplace where buyers and sellers can trust each other. BBB has set eight standards for marketplace trust. Businesses and other entities who create a culture of ethics are less likely to experience the negative effects of lapses in ethics. Judy is an experienced specialist with a demonstrated history of working in the professional training & coaching industry. Skilled in Nonprofit Organizations, Coaching, team building, public speaking, and fundraising. She is a strong professional with a Bachelor of Arts focused in Public Relations and Business & Organizational Communication from The University of Akron and a lifelong learner through self-directed education.
